From your base at Walkabout Lodge
you can explore the unique landscape
of East Arnhem Land and the culture of the local Yolηu people. Our
reception staff would be delighted to assist with Lodge accommodation,
reservations
and tourist information.
The
Walkabout Lodge and Tavern is conveniently located near the town centre
shopping centre precinct (only a short 200m walk), where you can obtain
tourist information and all your shopping, banking and postal
requirements.
Our guests
are accommodated in comfortable air-conditioned rooms (single,
double/twin
or triple) with ensuite bathrooms and patio or balcony. All rooms
contain cable TV, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, irons and
ironing boards. The Lodge has
a fully licensed restaurant with poolside dining, a cocktail bar with
large plasma screen and a shaded resort swimming pool. Our function
facilities are available to cater for small to medium conferences and
seminars.
